First of all, let us thank you for buying Motion Drive 3.0. We hope you will have every success with our software and your motion base project. In this User Guide we have set out all the information that we believe you will need to operate Motion Drive 3.0 and configure it to your motion base.

We have tested the software extensively and derived the accompanying guidance from our motion base design, building and testing. However, we cannot be responsible for any loss or damage arising from use of Motion Drive 3.0, or the guidance set out in this or any other documents released by us.

Using This Guide

This user guide is set out in a number of sections. It uses html pages so that you can access information quickly through the various links that appear throughout the text. Sections are accessible via the menu on the left side of each page.

Please take some time to look through this user guide before you attempt to incorporate the software into your motion base project. You will find step by step guidance on how to connect and configure the software both to the simulation and to your motion platform. In particular, you should thoroughly read each section before carrying out configuration and operational activities.

It is assumed that you will have some technical knowledge in order to be embarking on building your own motion base. However, we recognise that most people will no be conversant with all areas. So, we have provided a Glossary of the technical terms in use in the guide.

Down the left hand side of pages there will some useful bits and pieces, hints and tips that will hopefully help along the way too.
